The section “The environmental (milieu) and the competency-based approaches in the distance learning of adults”
On January 23, 2016 during the winter session of The St.Tikhon’s Orthodox University XXVI Annual Theological Conference will take place the section “The environmental (milieu) and the competency-based approaches in the distance learning of adults”.

The meeting aims to find out and understand the possibilities of two confronting approaches to the development of the programs delivered via distance education. The technique, the sphere of application, and the possibilities and means of their simultaneous using are going to be discussed for this purpose.

During the first part the participants are going to listen to the experts’ reports. After the break the roundtable discussion will consider the issues of the technology strategy of surrounding-based and the competency-based approaches in the Institution of distance education.
